Kuantan still
:) Heey people,
We are still in Kuantan, you have seen the pictures of the lovely island, but here there are less pretty pictures to make. Today we wanted to leave to Cherating. A small village with lots of other travelers. Much more to do then in this dirty city with rats walking on the street.
But unfortunately randy became ill again!Again diarrhoea! So we leave tomorrow. Blegh our planning always goes wrong :)
(lil information for the english people: the last day on the island Pulau Tioman, randy and I both got sick, puking and diarrhoea. All night long, so we took a while to rest in Kuantan a big city on the east of Malaysia)
What we're doing here: We shop in 2 different shopping centre's. Very big with kfc, pizzahut and macdonalds! haha very expensive.
And we look at the mosque that we pass by every walk.
We also enjoy our own tv again, it's been 2 months since we left so finally a tv again! We watch movies as: catch me if you can. Series like: america's top models, janice dickenson models agency, csi. And malaysian soaps with people named: Siti Hawa and Adam :P English translation though!
This is our giant room with 2 double beds and tv
plus a sink that doesn't flush
Further we enjoy our hot showers and people who don't understand us but who are willingly to try to talk to you :) I got many compliments about my curly hair today!
There's not much to tell about this big city, there's nothing much to do. The lonely planet doesn't help us either. It's all 2 hours driving to somewhere else. So we go to Cherating tomorrow. It's 46 km from here.
We are allready 2 months in Malaysia so we only have 1 month left with our visa, so it's gonna be a quicky around malaysia: Cherating, Kuala Terenggau, Cameron Highlands(for me: a big tea plantage), Ipoh and Penang. There we take the boat to Medan that's in Indonesia(l) looking forward to it.
